Day 114: I am thankful for the opportunities I was given in high school to share my singing talent. Tonight, I went good 'ole MHS for the show choirs community night and the memories came flooding back. Knowing what I know now, I really took for granted the opportunities I had to better myself and do more with my singing. Hindsight is 20/20, right?

Day 115: Today, I am thankful that I live close to most of my family. It is very nice to be so close when things good or bad come up.

Day 116: I am thankful for the power of a song. I am a firm believer that songs often emote the emotion we may be feeling. I have find myself hearing the right song at the right moment it needs to be heard. Songs and music speak directly to my heart and my emotions!

Day 95: Today I had the privileged to sit by my Grandpa Petersen during our church service, and it reminded me how blessed I am to have him in my life. Most of you that read this blog know that he had a little spell recently where he wasn't doing so well, but now he is recovering nicely. The example he has been as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, man of God, leader, an encourager, and scholar of the Word has played a part more in my life than I am probably aware. He has played a part in every part of my life even when I wasn't aware. It may not have been a decision that directly affected me, but it came down the line into my life! For him, I am thankful!

Day 94: I am thankful for the example my Papaw and Mamaw Reedy left! Today, my Papaw would have been 95. I do not remember much about him, but I can see the example he left through others. He and my Mamaw would have been married 67 years, and the stories I have heard I know they were a great example of a marriage!
